The legal basis for data protection is to be found in the EU Basic Data Protection Regulation (hereafter DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

We also use shipping services to deliver our goods (Deutsche Post, DHL). They receive the necessary data for delivery (name, address, e-mail for shipment notifications).

The above mentioned data is stored on our behalf on the servers of our web hosting provider. If you communicate with us by e-mail, your e-mails and the personal data communicated therein are also stored on our behalf on the servers of our hosting provider (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letters a, f DSGVO).
2.5 Newsletter and postal advertising
For the dispatch of our newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have expressly confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification e-mail and ask you to confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail. As a customer you can leave a wish list in the online shop of nordic coast company. You can also make it public, then other shop visitors can search for and view your wish list using your name and e-mail address.

Right of objection
You have the right to object at any time to the personal data processed on the basis of Art. 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1 f DSGVO, provided that there are reasons for the objection arising from your particular situation. Your personal data will, however, be further processed if there are compelling reasons worthy of protection to further process the data, which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of your person, or if the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. If we process personal data from you for the purpose of direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time and without giving reasons to the processing of personal data for the purpose of such advertising (Art. 21 DSGVO).

You have the right to receive free of charge information about your personal data held by us within the scope of the DSGVO (Art. 15 DSGVO).

5.1 What are cookies?
