Measuring 80 x 80 cm, it’s big enough as a blanket and still handy enough to store it in the diaper bag. For those for whom this size is not big enough, the muslin baby blanket is also available in 90 x 120 cm. Our muslin blankets are 4-ply and therefore very high quality. Due to the different layers, our blankets are also more durable and opaque than single-layer muslin. Of course, the cotton muslin blanket is easy to care for and can be washed at 40 degrees and ironed at medium temperature (2nd point).

Difference gauze nappies & molleton cloths

Gauze is a lightly woven cotton fabric and can occur in single or double weave form. In double weave they are more absorbent. This property makes them suitable for wrapping and ideal as a spit cloth. The single woven ones are also suitable as a privacy screen for the pram because of their transparency. If it is too sunny outside, parents can simply hang the breathable privacy screen over the pram. The main feature of the gauze wipes is that they become even bigger and softer after washing, as the fabric curls up during washing.

In contrast to the gauze nappies, molleton cloths are denser and fluffier woven. Due to a soft surface, the spittoon cloths have a high absorbency and are especially popular as a soft underlay when changing diapers or as a wetness protection in the baby’s bed. But they are not transparent due to their density and therefore not suitable as visual protection like gauze. Nevertheless, they are also multifunctional. The Molton blanket is also suitable as a light cuddly blanket or snuggle blanket and thus makes the everyday life of froggy parents easier.
